The administration, operation and work of the church are carried out to a great extent by our Standing Church Committees which are listed below. For further information about the work of each committee, click on the name below.
Administration Committee Chair Aaron Crafton
Responsible for the oversight of church personnel and other administrative details of the congregation.
Faith Development Committee Chair Kristin Conley
Responsible for all educational aspects of the church program, including Sunday School, Adult Classes, and Youth Fellowship.
Church Gift Fund Committee Chair Aaron Crafton
Responsible for the maintenance of the special gifts, memorials, and endowment accounts that have been given to the church.
Congregational Life Committee Chair Theresa Blanton
Responsible for developing and sponsoring fellowship activities for the church. This committee sponsors several annual events including the Easter Sunrise Service, church picnic, Watermelon & BBQ Dinner and Ice Cream Social.
Evangelism & New Member Committee Chair Natalie Townes
Responsible for spreading the good news of the Love of Jesus Christ with our community and the world. A by product of their work is to increase our church membership by engaging visitors and welcoming all to worship God. We encourage tour visitors to join us in our faith journey and seek to encourage them to join in the life of the church.
Mission & Outreach Committee Co-Chairs Richard and Kathy Smith
Responsible for following the great commission and interpreting how to reach out into the local and global communities sharing what we have been blessed with to meet their needs.
Responsible for the selection of Elder and Trustee officers of the church.
Pastoral Care Committee Co Chairs Linda Griffin and Becky Woodruff
Responsible for providing support and pastoral care to members in daily living and in times of need, crisis, joy and transition.
Property & Maintenance Committee Co-Chairs Tony Matusek and Bud Melson
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the church facilities, grounds and the church manse.
Stewardship & Finance Committee Chair Terry Saylor
Responsible for the accounting of the the tending to the church budget and monies.
Worship & Music Committee Chair David Beavers
Responsible for all aspects of worship life in the church.
